Of course, it was impossible to pass by the monument to the dog Hachiko, which is a symbol of fidelity and devotion in Japan. After the owner’s death, this dog went to Shibuya station for nine years and waited for his return.

 

We will visit the fashionable Ginza Street and Odaiba Island, built on a former landfill that connects to the center of Tokyo with a beautiful Rainbow Bridge.

 

During a one-day trip to Hakone, participants will visit a temple dedicated to the deity of the Hakone Mountains, which was founded in 757, this is the Shinto shrine of Hakone-jinja (or the temple of the Nine-headed dragon). The name is connected with the local legend of the monster, which sits on the bottom of Lake Asi-noko, chained by a strong chain. According to legend, the monk Gongen made offerings to the dragon in the form of a barrel of rice, throwing it in the center of the lake. He should have sailed away without turning around, while the keg disappeared in a murky whirlpool ... They say that now the monks perform this ritual every day.
